Routinity is designed as an offline-first habit tracking app. By default, we do not require you to create an account.

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

• Habit titles, emojis, schedules, and completion status
• App preferences (such as selected language)

This information is created and controlled entirely by you.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

Routinity does not collect:

• Location data
• Contacts
• Photos or media files
• Device identifiers for tracking
• Advertising identifiers

The App does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers.

1.3 Account Information (Optional)

If you choose to create an account (e.g., for PRO cloud sync features), we may collect:

• Email address
• Authentication identifiers (via Firebase Authentication)

Account creation is optional and not required to use core features.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Provide core habit-tracking functionality
• Save your habits and completion progress
• Remember your app preferences (such as language)
• Sync data across devices (only if you enable cloud sync)

We do not:

• Sell your data
• Rent your data
• Use your data for advertising
• Use your data for profiling or automated decision-making

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

By default, all data is stored locally on your device using Apple-provided secure storage mechanisms (UserDefaults).

This means:

• Your data stays on your device
• We cannot access your data
• Deleting the app removes your local data

3.2 Cloud Storage (PRO Feature)

If you enable cloud sync:

• Data will be stored securely using Firebase Firestore
• Data will be encrypted in transit and at rest
• Cloud sync will be optional and opt-in

4. Data Retention

• Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
• Cloud data (if enabled) will be retained until you delete your account or request deletion

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary.

5. Children's Privacy

Routinity is not directed at children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

6. International Data Transfers

If cloud features are enabled, data may be processed on servers located outside your country. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Third-Party Services

Routinity currently does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Optional services (such as Firebase Authentication or Firestore) are used solely for account and sync functionality.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
